For any ocular anterior-segment procedure, the Cephalospec Ophthalmic specimens offer the same texture and consistency as the living tissue — with an optional preparation that features the arterial vasculature all the way to the micro-vessels.
All intra-orbital tissues are preserved and the texture remains as realistic as a living subject under sedation — optic nerve included. The cadaveric specimens are preserved with a proprietary formulation that renders the tissue non-toxic and completely odor-free features — giving the surgeon a proper and efficient realistic experience.
